The nominees for the 75th Emmy Awards, television's most prestigious accolade have been unveiled. The final season of 'Succession' bagged 27 total nominations, including a record-setting three nominations in the best actor in a drama category. 'The Last of Us' was second with 24 total nominations, including best drama series and best actor and actress nods for Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. Season 2 of 'The White Lotus' was third with 23 nominations, which includes five nominations in the best supporting actress in a drama category.
Remakes of three Hindi classics, Gulzar’s Koshish, Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Mili, headlined by megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan and the 1972 musical comedy Bawarchi have been announced on Wednesday. Taking to Instagram, trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared a post and captioned it, "OFFICIAL REMAKE OF TIMELESS CLASSICS ‘MILI’, ‘KOSHISH’ & ‘BAWARCHI’ ANNOUNCED… In a major development, #AnushreeMehta and #AbirSengupta [of Jaadugar Films] and #SameerRajSippy [of SRS Productions] will jointly produce the *official remake* of three iconic films: #Mili [1975], #Koshish [1972] and #Bawarchi [1972]."

SS Rajamouli's father Vijayendra Prasad has verified the news and also revealed that Ram Charan and Jr NTR will again feature in the sequel as the main leads. Authorities in Vietnam have banned commercial screenings of Greta Gerwig's 'Barbie' because it contains a scene that depicts a map with the 'nine dash line', a representation of China's territorial claims in the South China Sea. The late Ramanand Sagar's blockbuster mythological show 'Ramayan' is back on television. The serial had gained immense popularity upon release on Doordarshan in 1987. Amid the Adipurush controversy, the iconic Ramayan is set to be telecasted again on Shemaroo Tv, from July 3. Following this, Arun Govil, who played Lord Ram in the TV show Ramayan recalled that he wasn't the first choice for the character.
